Types of mini sensors

2021-07-06

According to the physical properties to be measured, mini sensors are divided into chemical micro-sensors, biological micro-sensors, physical micro-sensors, etc.

1. Ion sensor (chemical type): A sensor that converts the ion activity in a solution into an electrical signal. The basic principle is to use the ion recognition material fixed on the sensitive membrane to selectively combine the sensed ions, so as to change the membrane potential or membrane voltage to achieve the purpose of detection. Ion-sensitive sensors are widely used in industries such as chemistry, medicine, food, and biological engineering.
2. Gene sensor (biotype): through a single-stranded deoxyribo nucleic acid (Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid, DNA) molecule (also called ssDNA probe) of known nucleotide sequence immobilized on the surface of the sensor, and another complementary ssDNA molecules (also called target DNA or target DNA) hybridize to form double-stranded DNA (dsDNA). The transducer converts the changes produced by the hybridization process or results into electrical, optical, acoustic and other physical signals, and analyzes these responses Signal, giving information about related genes. Genetic sensors are also called DNA sensors.
3. Surface acoustic wave sensor (physical type): Use surface acoustic wave technology and micro-electromechanical system technology to convert various non-electrical information, such as changes in pressure, temperature, flow, magnetic field strength, acceleration, and angular velocity, into surface acoustic waves A device that changes the oscillation frequency of a vibrator.
