Type of industrial weighing scale

Some common industrial scales include:

Vehicle and axle scales: These scales help to accurately provide the total weight and axle weight of different types of vehicles. Vehicles, from light goods vehicles to heavy multi-axle trucks and vehicles.  Vehicle and axle scales help ensure accurate weighing of trucks and heavy vehicles, which helps eliminate fines due to inaccurate truck weight.

Track scales: You can use these multipurpose scales for static and dynamic weighing.  They can also be used in the form of modular decks that are spaced to match the distance between the wheels of the train.  They can be integrated with RFID tags for detailed data collection and digital display systems, making tracking, weighing and reading easier and more accurate.  Generally, they provide gross weight for the wagon, however, you can optimize the operation by setting up a track scale that provides separate wheel and axle readings.

Floor scales: These can be used to accurately weigh goods in and out or sort inventory.  They reduce the possibility of lost revenue due to incorrect weighing.  The scale is usually installed on top of a horizontal floor surface or in a pit so that the top of the scale is level with the surrounding area.  You can load the goods directly onto the scale to be weighed, or you can load the compacted pallets onto the scale to be weighed.

Platform scales: Platform scales are very compact in size and frame.  Because of their size, they are easy to implement in many industries.  Some workbench scales can weigh 500 pounds or more, and because you can put them on a workbench or surface, they are very convenient scales.
Shipping scales: These are ideal for small parcels for general weighing, check weighing and counting applications.  Ships are available in a wide range of sizes, capabilities and functions.  To maximize the workspace, they take up a small footprint.

Forklift scale: The forklift scale is used to weigh and lift bound materials on the forklift.  This allows you to transport goods directly to the warehouse when shipped, while keeping track of weight, storage location, and origin during transit.  You can get real-time data capture for inventory management and billing.  Integrating these scales with instruments in your taxi, such as bar code scanners, will help you capture the necessary available freight data and then wirelessly transmit it along with weight data to a monitoring computer system.

Postal scales: This is common at a post office counter or back office.  You can easily interface them with existing shipping, mailing, and inventory systems for accurate handling and weighing.  The postal scale is capable of handling all types of packages and letters and allows flexibility.  They can also help reduce equipment costs.

On-board weighing scales: Mounted directly on vehicles or equipment, enabling you to provide accurate and fast weight measurements.  They are highly efficient and help you save time.  Their main components are load cells that can withstand maximum loads.  The display system will show the weight of the load being weighed, and if the maximum weight is exceeded, the alarm system will alert the driver.

Conveyor scale: These scales are ideal when speed and accuracy are critical to a business's profitability.  The scale is mounted on the conveyor belt to improve the processing speed by increasing the throughput and reducing the lift.  You can easily install these electronic scales and integrate them with computers, scanners and label printers for further control of the process.

Pallet scale: Provides a quick weighing solution for boxes and pallets of different sizes.  Pallet scale is the ideal choice for supply chain warehouse and distribution enterprises.  Easy to weigh and move goods simultaneously.  Some varieties of pallet scales include pallet beam scales, pit mounted pallet scales and portable pallet jack scales.

Sport portable shaft scales: These scales are highly portable and enable quick measurements.  These scales include a built-in weight label printer and can also be integrated into a tracking system to reflect your workflow and keep you up to date.

Full-length truck scales: These scales provide accurate results as measurement is made by positioning the truck on a large full-length scale.  These scales are ideal for sites that have a high volume of traffic through their operations and need accurate tracking.

Loadometer truck scales: Similar in use to full-length truck scales, loadometer truck scales provide more complex measurements.  They come in a variety of sizes and can also be customized.  This scale is widely used in industries that require regular weighing of trucks or large amounts of material of various structures.

Counting scale: Counting scale is used for inventory control and accurate counting of large quantities of identical parts.  You can weigh even the lightest parts with over 99 percent accuracy, greatly reducing operator errors that are common when counting items by hand.  Counting scale can withstand overload and impact load, counting fast and accurate.

Batch and formula scales: These weighing systems enable control of manual and automatic addition of ingredients.  It also makes product selection easier by prompting the operator with a visual display, batch numbers traceable and output to a printer or mainframe.
